Bio

A native of Ridgefield, Connecticut, classical guitarist Christopher Wyton holds a Bachelors of Music Performance degree from Western Connecticut State University and a Masters of Music Performance degree from Shenandoah Conservatory.  Wyton also studied at the Mannes School of Music in New York City.

With over seventeen years of solo, chamber and ensemble performance experience, Wyton’s repertoire ranges from Bach to the Beatles to modern pop, with classical music receiving most of his attention. He has performed extensively at venues throughout the Northeast including various museums, embassies, churches and hotels in the Washington, DC, and New York metro areas. In addition to his studies and his performance interests, he has extensive music education experience and is currently teaching privately in Northern Virginia.

Repertoire

Wyton's repertoire ranges from Bach to the Beatles to modern pop and he believes in tailoring his set lists to the tastes of his clients to make each event unforgettable. If there is a piece that is not currently on the repertoire list, he will happily learn it and make a guitar arrangement of it especially for your event!
